According to meteorologists, five days from December 31 to January 4 may be the coldest days of this season. During this, the night temperature in some areas of Punjab, Haryana can go down to minus. At the same time, the night temperature in Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh will be 1 to 4 degrees. The maximum temperature of the day is likely to remain in the range of 10 to 14 degrees.

In the beginning of the new year, dense fog will also cover most of the hilly states of North to Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, East and North Madhya Pradesh.

According to the meteorologist, there are chances of fresh snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal on December 29-30 due to western disturbance. After this, on changing the wind pattern, there will be severe winter in the plains. This will be the coldest day of the season.
