Sharad Yadav Former Union Minister Passed Away, PM Modi Expressed Grief

Sharad Yadav : Former National President of Janata Dal United and former Union Minister Sharad Yadav passed away at Fortis Hospital in Gurugram on Thursday night. He was 75 years old and was suffering from kidney ailment for a long time. Sharad was admitted to the hospital on Thursday night due to shortness of breath. He passed away a few hours later. The information about the demise of this veteran leader was given by his daughter Subhashini Yadav on her Facebook page. He wrote – Papa is no more. Several leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav have condoled his death.

Sharad Yadav : PM Modi Expressed Grief

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the death of Sharad Yadav. PM Modi tweeted, ‘Very sad at the demise of Sharad Yadav ji. In his long public career, he distinguished himself as a parliamentarian and minister. He was greatly influenced by the ideals of Dr. Lohia. I will always cherish our conversation. Condolences to his family and fans. om Shanti.’

Defense Minister Said – Effective Voice Became Silent

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh condole the demise of Sharad Yadav. He said, ‘I am deeply pain by the demise of Sharad Yadav, former Union Minister and senior leader of the country. In his long political career, he always strongly raise the problems of the weaker sections of the society. He also fought a lot to protect democracy during emergency. An effective voice of Indian politics has silence by his demise.

He said, ‘I have had a very long and very intimate relationship with Sharad ji. Sharadji’s demise, very simple and unassuming by nature, is a big loss. In this hour of grief, I express my condolences to his bereaved family and supporters. Om Shanti.

Sharad Yadav Was Born in Madhya Pradesh

Sharad Yadav, a veteran political player, was born on July 1, 1947, in village Akhmau in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from Madhya Pradesh, he did electoral politics from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Bihar remained the main center of his politics. He was elect to the Lok Sabha four times from Madhepura Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar, twice from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and once from Budaun in Uttar Pradesh. He was the convenor of the National Democratic Alliance.
