Mysterious Tree ! Where on A Peepal Tree More Than 150 Pythons Live, People Worship Them

Actually, Bhadesar village is about 8 to 9 kilometers away from the district headquarter Janjgir. There is a Sacred Fig (Peepal tree) in the premises of Mahatma Ram Pandey’s residence, which is also associate with the reverence of the villagers. They worship these pythons. The people coming here will also able to see small children of pythons roaming around easily. The width of the Peepal tree is more than 5 meters.
Python Tree : This Family Worships Pythons
Mahatma Ram Pandey tells that pythons are wrap around the Peepal tree. He has seen the nest of pythons here since childhood. They are not afraid of them, rather they and their entire family worship them. Pythons live in the hollow trunks of trees. Those who go out to take sunlight in the rain and cold weather. They move here and there on the ground, but remain calm. They don’t attack anyone. Even the villagers are surprised to see that they sit peacefully on the branches of trees.
Pythons do not Hunt Birds Sitting on Trees
When the hollow part of the tree gets filled with water during the rainy season. Then many pythons come out of the tree. At that time the local people throng the house of Mahatma Ram Pandey to see the python. People tell that despite being dangerous, pythons have never harmed anyone. Even the pythons do not hunt even the birds and squirrels sitting on this Peepal tree.

People leave Abandoned Snakes on Python Tree
Mahatma Ram Pandey, who reared the pythons, told that earlier he used to have a field near the Peepal tree. Then his grandfather had given shelter to the pythons in the tree, since then the pythons started living on the Peepal tree. Pythons that have lived on trees for many years soon adjust to new snakes. Even Mahatma Ram brings abandoned pythons from nearby villages and leaves them on the tree.
People of Bhadesar village say that python is worshipable and its presence in the house is considered auspicious. If they are in the house, then there is profit. Living in it brings wealth and fame in life, that is why villagers go near the tree to seek its blessings.
