Oscar Nominations 2023 : It is indeed a proud moment for our country at this time. After 21 years, the country has got not one or two but four nominations at the Oscars. While ‘Naatu Naatu’ song from ‘RRR’ has select in the Original Song category, ‘Chhello Show’ has been shortlisted in the International Film category. Apart from these two films, there is also talk of two documentary films, which have select for the Oscars. These are director Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes and The Elephant Whisperers. That is, this time 4 films of the country have select for the Oscars.

Oscar Nominations 2023 : Best Original Song Category

Let us tell you that the show RRR and Chhelo have reached one step closer to the Oscars. The Naatu Naatu track from RRR has select in the Best Original Song category. And in the documentary feature film category, All That Breathes and The Elephant Whispers have shortlisted. For your information, let us tell you that the nomination for the Academic Award will be announce on January 24.

Chhailo Show is Also Shortlist

Apart from this, the Gujarati language Chhello Show (The Last Show) is India’s official entry for the awards in the International Feature Film category. The Last Show will compete with 14 other films in the category. The competition includes Argentina, 1985, Decision to Leave, All Quiet on the Western Front, Close and The Blue Kaftan. If we talk about RRR, then the movie was released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. RRR will compete for two awards at the Golden Globes next month.
