In fact, the Congress government in the state has passed a bill to increase the reservation to 76 percent. It has been sent to Raj Bhavan for approval. But even after a month has passed, the governor has not approved it. That’s why the Congress is accusing the BJP of putting pressure on the Raj Bhavan. Attack on Raj Bhavan in Reservation Dispute

Controversy Over 76% Reservation

Significantly, on September 19, the Bilaspur High Court had canceled 58 percent reservation in the state. After this, the tribal society opened a front against the government. Demonstrations start on the streets daily. Then the government call a special session of the assembly and on December 2 pass a bill to increase the reservation of ST, OBC and General in the state. After this the percentage of reservation in the state became 76 percent. But the Governor has not approve this bill. After this, the confrontation between the government and the Raj Bhavan continues.
