Israel Attack Syria : Damascus Airport Closed Again, Two Soldiers Killed by Israel’s Tainted Missiles
Israel Attack Syria : The Syrian army said that the Israeli army fired missiles towards the international airport of the Syrian capital on Monday morning, January 2, killing two soldiers and injuring two others. The airport had to close. The army has given this information without giving clear details. There was no comment from Israel.

Israel Attack Syria : Weapon Depot Targeted
Israel has targeted airports and seaports in government-held parts of Syria in a bid to block shipments of weapons from Iran to terrorist groups backed by Iran, including Lebanon’s Hezbollah. Israeli strikes also targeted the airport as well as an arms depot south of Damascus. The Britain-base Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says four people are kill in the attack.
Airport Was Attacked in Past
On 10 June, Israeli airstrikes on Damascus International Airport caused significant damage to infrastructure and runways. It was reopen two weeks after repairs. In September, Israeli airstrikes hit Aleppo’s international airport, Syria’s largest and once commercial center, putting flights out of action for several days.
Israel Does Not Discuss
In late 2021, Israeli warplanes fired missiles that hit the port of Latakia, hitting containers and starting a huge fire. Israel has conducted hundreds of strikes on targets inside government-controlled parts of Syria in recent years, but rarely acknowledges or discusses such operations.
