Digital Payment Complaint in NPCI

According to a guideline issued by the Reserve Bank of India, if you transfer money to another account by mistake, then complain to the bank and the RBI website https://www.rbi.org.in/. Full details of the account to which you have sent the money will have to be given to the bank along with the customer care of the UPI app. In such a situation, if the person receiving the money has not made the withdrawal, then your fund gets reverted immediately. But if the person in front has withdrawn the money, then you have to go to the bank and complain to RBI and NPCI.

Digital Payment Bank Information

If you have transferred money to another account by mistake while making payment, then you will have to register a complaint by going to the assistance section of the app. After this you will have to inform your bank about it. If you want, you can also complain by calling the helpline number of the bank or through net banking.

Maintain Transaction ID Details

Keep the money transfer message and Transaction ID details with you. Register a complaint by visiting the NPCI website if money is transfer to the wrong account through UPI. For this, first of all you have to go to Dispute Redressal Mechanism. After going there, you will have to go to the transaction tab and fill the required information.
