Ban on Firecrackers in Christmas And New Year Celebration, Central Pollution Board Issues Order

Ban on Firecrackers : Preparations are being made to welcome Christmas and New Year in Chhattisgarh. The brightness is being seen in the markets. Meanwhile, on the instructions of the state government, the district administration has also issue instructions. Under which burning of desired firecrackers has been banned to prevent environmental pollution. After these festivals, the Center has asked for air quality reports of these cities.

Ban on Firecrackers : Pollution Board Issued Order

This year, before New Year and Christmas, the Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi has banned the production and sale of some firecrackers. For which a letter has issue to the Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board. At the same time, the Environment Protection Board has also issue name letters to all the collectors of the state, giving instructions to strictly ban the use of ban firecrackers on Christmas, New Year and other Teej festivals.

Central Pollution Board Sought Report

Not only this, the Central Pollution Control Board has also asked the Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board to report the city’s air quality during Christmas and New Year, emphasizing the use of green firecrackers in place of pollution and high-sounding firecrackers. So that it can ascertain whether the ban is being follow or not.

Ban on Firecrackers : Collector Issue Order

Regarding the implementation of the order of the Environment Protection Board, apart from urban areas like Durg, Raipur, Rajnandgaon, the collectors of rural areas have also issued an instruction in this regard. He has issued instructions to burn green firecrackers from 11:55 to 12:30 pm on Christmas and New Year and celebrate peacefully. Along with this, action will also take by the administration on using and selling ban firecrackers. The officials in the district have also direct to ensure that low-emitting and green firecrackers is sell in the market. Apart from this, production and sale of other firecrackers should ban.

Bhilai Division Measure Air Quality in Durg

The responsibility of measuring air quality will be of the regional Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board. The Bhilai-based unit will measure the air quality of urban bodies of Durg division. Circle office has to prepare air quality report of Durg-Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Balod, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, Manpur Mohla, Kabirdham, Bemetara district headquarters on Christmas and New Year and send it to Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Circle Office, Raipur Have to go

Order Issue for Ban on Firecrackers

Actually this order has issue in all the states of the country. An order has pass by the Supreme Court regarding the use of firecrackers in Writ Petition (Civil) Arjun Gopal Vs. Union of India. In compliance of which the sale, use and manufacture of series crackers or strings has ban. Only those firecrackers is allow to sell. Whose sound level is within the prescribe limit (125 decibels). Apart from this, online sale of firecrackers has ban.
