McDonald’s Layoffs : McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski has announced that layoffs are going to happen by April to reduce costs. Kempczinski told The Wall Street Journal that some of the jobs that exist today are either going to move or may be lost. McDonald’s plans to announce its decision about the layoffs by April 3.

As per reports, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski has announced that the world-famous fast-food chain would be laying off employees from the corporate wing of the company. These McDonald’s Layoffs are likely to take place in April 2023.

McDonald’s Last reported about 2 million corporate employees and workers at company-owned restaurants. Kempczynski said they will evaluate roles and staffing levels in certain parts of the organization. And there will be difficult decisions ahead.

In the memo, he said, some initiatives will be de-prioritized or stopped altogether. This will help us grow faster as an organization. While reducing our global costs and freeing up resources to invest in our growth.
