Maruti Suzuki : The year 2020 is about to end and in the meantime Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new avatar of its famous car S-Presso. The company has shared the picture of this car on its official social media platform. This is a limited edition S-Presso car, which will probably be based on its top model. Now some details related to this car have come to the fore and very soon its price will also be revealed.

Feature of Maruti Suzuki S Presso Xtra

Auto experts consider this car as a hatchback, while the company has give this car a place in the SUV section on its official website. However, some extra features and updates are expect in the new S-Presso Xtra. As can said by looking at the picture, it will get upgrades like front skid plate, door cladding, wheel arch cladding in the exterior. Apart from this, red inserts will give on the door panels and dashboard etc. in the interior. The company will also change its upholstery and mats.

There will be no change in the engine mechanism of this car. It will power by the same 1.0-litre K-series dual-jet engine as the standard model. Which comes with ideal start-stop technology. This engine generates power of 65.7 bhp and torque of 89 Nm. This engine is mate to a 5-speed manual gearbox, and the car is also available with (AGS) automatic transmission.

Available in Both Petrol and CNG

Its standard model comes with both petrol and CNG variant options. Its petrol model gives mileage up to 21.4 kmpl and CNG model up to 32.73 kmpl. Features like 7-inch touch screen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, power windows, keyless entry are available in the regular model. On the safety front, the car gets dual airbags, rear parking sensors, speed alert system, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and front seat-belt reminder.

Price of Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

However, it is difficult to say anything about the price of Maruti S-Presso Xtra before its launch. But it is expect that after the new upgrade, its price may be slightly higher than the current model. The price of the current model starts from Rs. 4.25 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 6.10 lakhs. In the market, this car will mainly compete with models like Tata Tiago and Renault Kwid.
