In a major decision, the Defense Ministry has approved the purchase of around 120 Pralay ballistic missiles for the Indian Armed Forces. These missiles will be deployed along the border with China and Pakistan.

Pralay Missile Will Deployed on China-PAK Border

Getting the green signal for the purchase of Pralay ballistic missiles is being seen as a major development for the country. India now has a policy that allows the use of ballistic missiles in strategic roles. Both China and Pakistan have ballistic missiles, which are for strategic roles. Sources said that the missile develop by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is being further develop and if the army wants, its range can increase significantly.

At present, Pralaya ballistic missiles can hit targets ranging from 150 to 500 km.
