Tamil Nadu Accident : Car Fell Into Gorge in Kumily, 8 Devotees of Sabarimala Temple Died

Tamil Nadu Accident : Eight devotees who were going to Sabarimala temple to pay obeisance to Lord Ayyappa died tragically in a gruesome accident. Two children are also among those who died in this accident. This horrific accident took place in Kumily, Tamil Nadu. Where last night a car went uncontrolled and fell into a 40 feet deep ditch.

According to the information received, the incident took place near Kumily in Theni district near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. All the pilgrims who died are said to be residents of Theni-Andipetty. All these people were returning from Theni. According to the police, the accident happened due to over speeding. The accident has been confirmed by Theni District Collector KV Muraleedharan. He told that the incident took place at around 11 pm last night.

Tamil Nadu Accident : Car Fell Into Hill

It is says that a car fall into a 40 feet deep gorge due to high speed from the hill pass. The local people informed the administration about the accident. After which the police reach the spot and start relief work with the help of the local people. The dead bodies of the occupants of the car have remove and sent to the hospital for postmortem. There is chaos among the relatives of the deceased in this accident. People who were going to pay obeisance to Lord Ayyappa die in the accident, a pall of gloom has spread.

Driver Lost Control At High Speed

According to information received from the local people, the driver of the van lost control at high speed. Due to which the van fell into the ditch. There was delay in the relief and rescue work of this accident which happened late at night. There were 10 people in the car. Out of which 8 people have died. Two people have seriously injure. Those who have admit to the nearest hospital for treatment.
