Bharatiya Kisan Sangh to Organize Big Protest in Delhi Today, 60 Thousand Farmers will Participate

Kisan Garjana Rally : Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS), an organization of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, is organizing a ‘Kisan Garjana’ rally in the country’s capital Delhi on Monday on issues related to farmers. BKS is taking to the streets against the Modi government at the Center for its demands related to the farmers. Thousands of farmers are going to participate in the ‘Kisan Garjana’ rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi regarding their demands. The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh has been angry with the government for a long time regarding its demands. The organization has now adopted the strategy of putting pressure on the road.

Kisan Garjana Rally : 60 Thousand Farmers Participate

It is being claimed that 50 to 60 thousand farmers will participate in the Kisan Garjana rally of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh. Farmers from all over the country will come in about 700 to 800 buses and 4000 private vehicles. Hoardings and posters of Kisan Garjana Rally have been put up at different borders of Delhi. Bharatiya Kisan Sangh General Secretary Mohini Mohan Mishra said that the demands related to farmers will be protested by holding a rally in Delhi, in which farmers from 600 districts will participate.

BKS Demands to Government

BKS demands that the central government should not impose Goods and Services Tax (GST) on agricultural produce. Apart from this, the organization is also demanding to free all agricultural produce from GST. Along with this, the demand for increase in the amount of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi in proportion to the increased cost of cultivation is also raise. Apart from the subsidy in food grains, the farmer’s organization is also demanding financial assistance to the farmers through DBT.

Farmers’ organization demands that help should also given for irrigation and river link projects. BKS has also demanded to give more money for this purpose. Farmers demand from the central government that GM (genetically modified) mustard seeds should not be approve. The country’s export-import policy should in the interest of the people. Along with promoting organic farming in the country. Many other demands are also make including the demand to increase the income of the farmers.

Kisan Garjana Rally : Demand to Increase Kisan Credit Limit

Bharatiya Kisan Sangh demands that the central government increase the limit of Kisan Credit Card from Rs.3 lakh to Rs.10 lakh, so that farmers do not face any problem for farming. Cardholders should given a license to set up micro-processing food units without the need for a certificate from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Actually, getting FSSAI certificate is a long and challenging process.

Kisan Garjana Rally : Demand For Business License

Bharatiya Kisan Sangh says that the government already has the data of Kisan Credit Card holders. On the basis of this, farmers should given license to become businessmen. There is no need to take any separate certificate for this. BKS executive committee member Nana Akhare has says that the farmers who provide food grains, vegetables, fruits, milk etc. to the country, today are very disappoint because of not getting proper returns on their agricultural produce and because of this they are committing suicide. Huh.
