Bomb Blast in Medinipur District in West Bengal, 3 people died including TMC leader

Bomb Blast in Medinipur : A big news has come out from East Medinipur district of West Bengal. Three people, including a TMC leader, were killed in a Bomb Blast in Medinipur ahead of the rally of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and TMC General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee. This incident of bomb blast took place late on Friday night at TMC leader’s house.

Apart from the death of three people in the blast, information about injuries to many others has also come to the fore. The blast took place in Arjun Nagar area of East Medinipur. Trinamool (TMC) General Secretary and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee’s meeting is to be held in Kanthi today. After the blast, the police is probing the matter. According to media reports, the blast took place while making bombs at the TMC leader’s house.

Bomb Blast in Medinipur TMC politician

The blast took place around 11 pm on Friday night in a kutcha house in Narayavila village of Arjunnagar gram panchayat under Bhupatinagar police station of Bhagwanpur-2 block of Kanthi in East Medinipur. The blast took place at the house of TMC booth president Rajkumar Mana. The house has badly damage in the blast. Mamta’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee’s meeting is to be hold at the place this blast take place.

Today Abhishek Banerjee is going to address a public meeting at College Ground in Contai, East Midnapore. This is the home constituency of Leader of the Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari. On the blast, BJP says that this blast took place while making the bomb.

Three people died

A total of 3 people, including TMC’s booth president and a worker, died in the blast. Many people have injure. The information about who is behind this blast has not been reveal yet. The ruling party of the state i.e. Mamta Sarkar has not yet given any specific reaction on this.

On the other hand, the Bhagwanpur BJP MLA alleged that the incident took place during the planting of bombs at the Trinamool booth president’s house. The place where the blast took place is in Kanthi near Shantikunj, about 40 km from Abhishek Banerjee’s meeting place. As soon as the information receive, the police reach the spot and the injure take to the hospital. The police is investigating the matter.
